​​WHO WE ARE

Chartered in 1946 by U.S. military members returning from World War II, Lowe's Grove, NC Post 416 is hard at work today meeting the unique needs of our local community in the South Durham County/Northwest Wake County, North Carolina area. Every day, American Legion members work together to support their local communities, focusing on services classified under the organization's four pillars: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

If you have served at least one day of federal active duty in the United States Armed Forces since December 7, 1941, and have been honorably discharged or are still serving - you are eligible for membership in The American Legion. For those who served in the Guard or Reserve, activation under Title 10 orders for at least one day is required to be eligible.

HOW TO JOIN (NEW MEMBERS)

Step 1. Fill in the below form, and then click the red 'Send' button.

Step 2. Click on the red 'Pay Now' button to pay Post 416's annual dues of $35. Dues are payable annually for each calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31). Someone from Post 416 will contact you to verify eligibility before processing membership. Membership will not be finalized until both steps are completed.

HOW TO RENEW (EXISTING MEMBERS)

Click on the red 'Pay Now' button to pay Post 416's annual dues of $35. Dues are payable annually for each calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31).
